The Beatles Tribute Band at Grove Winery

Grove Winery is located just outside of Burlington, in the town of Gibsonville. This vineyard and winery specializes in European-style wines, with tastings available daily. But for even more fun, why not complement your glass of wine with some live music? Grove Winery hosts a wine and concert series that runs from March until September.

The Beatles Tribute Band Wonderwall will be performing on Saturday, April 14. The concert will be outside, so be sure to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the show. A limited number of tables will also be available for reservation. You can bring your own food to the concert, or there will also be food available for purchase as well. It doesn’t get any better than an evening full of live music, delicious wine, local craft beer, and great company.

Retro Band at City Park

Musical Chairs is an outdoor concert series that takes place at City Park every Friday evening from May through August, from 7-9pm. The first concert will be Retro Band on May 11, and this is an event you will certainly want to have on your calendar. Retro Band prides itself on combining the old with the new to create a unique musical experience.

Just a little preparation will help you make the most of your night out. Bring your own chair or blanket to get comfortable, and feel free to bring a cooler or picnic basket full of food to enjoy as well. Plus, you will feel good knowing that this concert series is a partnership with the Alamance Arts Council. Donations of art supplies are always encouraged and welcomed.

Active City Streets

The 2018 Active City Streets event will take place on May 5 from 10am-2pm in Downtown Burlington. This fun event for individuals of all ages is designed to get everyone up and moving, so don’t forget to wear your tennis shoes! You can take a Zumba class, learn to hula hoop, play a game of life-size foosball, and more. There will also be a kid zone for all of the little ones to join in on the fun!
